About
Deadgame Staffords
The breeding prefix 'Deadgame' is an 'Old English' colloquial word. To the breed pioneers and Staffordshire Bull Terrier historians 'deadgame' was more than just a word, it was a title afforded only to the bravest.
Our prefix was first registered in 1978, two years after Alan started exhibiting his first Staffordshire Bull Terrier. These days we consider ourselves to be low quantity, high quality country breeders dedicated to breeding sound specimens of correct type, that are in the standard.

Over the years we have bred the following Champions.
We currently have two brood bitches, these being Deadgame Rouge de Colere & Deadgame Eirinn De Reul. We are also very exicited with the prospects of our up and coming youngster Deadgame Lion Hunter (Leo).
More recently we have exported to the U.S.A. These exports, their siblings, the above brood bitches and Champions all came about by direct breeding or line breeding to our foundation Sire and Brood Bitch which we campaigned to Championship status. These unforgettably being Ch. Loggerheads Penkridge (imp NZ) who through his sire, Eng. Ch. Staff McMichael, was a direct 'M-Line' descendant and Ch. Crossguns Bravassa, a tail-female granddaughter to 'Crossguns' foundation brood bitch Vita Vitessa.
There are so many people we would like to thank for their friendship and support over the years. All of those many nice people that purchased a puppy for pet and/or show that have kept in contact.
We will forever be indebted to Sandi & Glen Consadine of Mosstrooper who so willingly gave us Mosstrooper Mean Streets, (Eddie). A great dog, best mate & family member. Sincere thanks also to Greg & Viv Raymond of Warbred for Warbred Mistress Mags who produced Deadgame Foxy Queen, (Bonnie). Eddie & Bonnie enabled us at Deadgame to maintain our lines.
Special mentions also to Frank & Margaret Broadhead of Westriding, the late Yvonne Reeder and 'The Reeders' of Gamester, Garry and Monica Corbet of Myarestaff and to Mavis & Alec Prior of Crossguns who were directly responsible for us acquiring our foundation sire and dam. Also to our new friends in the U.S.A. Robert Kung & Sharon Treadgold of Portland, Oregon and Paul & Laura Wickel of Long Island, New York.
Thanks to all......................Alan and Lyndal Gregory
